Job Description

The successful candidate will be responsible for the comprehensive oversight of inventory operations and related commercial aspects, ensuring both operational and financial efficiency. Key responsibilities include:

• Inventory Management: Accurately monitor stock levels across all supply chain stages, from receipt to storage and distribution. Develop and implement effective inventory control policies to minimize waste, obsolescence, and ensure product availability.
• Commercial & Financial Analysis: Prepare regular reports and analyses on inventory performance, holding costs, and key performance indicators (KPIs). Analyze variances between physical and book inventory and propose corrective solutions.
• Operational Coordination: Act as a vital link between the Sales, Procurement, Logistics, and Finance departments to ensure smooth information and material flow. Optimize ordering and re-ordering processes to achieve the optimal balance between stock levels and market demand.
• Compliance & Auditing: Ensure inventory management operations comply with company internal policies and regulations. Contribute to internal audit processes and prepare for external audits.
• Continuous Improvement: Identify opportunities for process improvements to reduce costs and increase productivity within the inventory and related commercial activities.

Requirements & Qualifications

To qualify for this position, you must meet the following criteria:

• Educational Qualification: A Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain & Logistics, Finance, or a related field.
• Work Experience: A minimum of 3 to 5 years of experience in a similar role (Inventory Controller, Commercial Analyst, Logistics Supervisor), preferably within the Fast-Moving Consumer Goods (FMCG), food & beverage, or retail industry.
• Technical Skills: Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office software, especially Excel (formulas, pivot tables). Experience working with Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) systems like SAP or Oracle is a significant advantage.
• Personal Skills:

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities in both Arabic and English.
