Job Description and Key Responsibilities

The Audio/Video IT Engineer will be responsible for managing and maintaining the company's multimedia technological infrastructure. This role involves close collaboration with various departments to ensure the seamless operation of all audiovisual-related processes.

Key responsibilities include:

• System Installation & Configuration: Overseeing the installation, configuration, and testing of advanced audio and video systems in the company's main offices, meeting rooms, and presentation halls.
• Maintenance & Technical Support: Performing routine preventive and corrective maintenance on all AV systems to ensure uninterrupted operation. Providing prompt technical support to troubleshoot and resolve any system failures or technical issues.
• Event Management: Delivering vital technical support during crucial meetings, client presentations, conferences, and internal/external company events. Ensuring optimal sound and video quality according to the highest standards.
• Development & Enhancement: Proposing upgrades and improvements to the existing audio/video infrastructure to keep pace with the latest technological advancements and enhance the user experience.
• Training & Documentation: Training relevant staff on the basic operation of AV systems. Preparing and updating technical documentation and operational procedures for all systems.
• Vendor Coordination: Coordinating with external vendors and contractors for the execution of technical projects within the specialization area.

Required Qualifications and Skills

To be a successful candidate for this role, you should possess the following qualifications and skills:

• Academic Qualification: A Bachelor's degree in Computer Engineering, Information Technology, Electrical Engineering, or a related field.
• Professional Experience: A minimum of 3 years of hands-on experience in managing and operating audio/video systems in a large corporate or institutional setting. Experience within the real estate or retail sector is a distinct advantage.
• Specialized Technical Knowledge:
  • In-depth knowledge of video conferencing systems (e.g., Cisco, Polycom, Zoom Rooms).
  • Hands-on experience with microphones, speakers, display systems, and audio mixers.
  • Understanding of central control systems like Crestron or AMX.
  • Foundational knowledge of computer networking and support, as modern AV systems are deeply integrated with network infrastructure.
• Personal Skills: Excellent communication and interpersonal skills in both Arabic and English. Ability to work under pressure and tackle technical challenges. Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities. High level of accuracy and attention to detail.
