Job Description and Key Responsibilities

The successful candidate will be stationed at a beverage service outlet, serving as the primary expert in crafting and serving a wide array of high-quality drinks with precision and care. The core responsibilities of this role include:

• Fresh Juice Preparation: Expertly preparing a variety of natural juices, smoothies, and healthy cocktails, adhering to the highest standards of hygiene and quality when handling fresh fruits and ingredients.
• Barista Arts: Preparing various coffee beverages (espresso, latte, cappuccino, etc.) using professional espresso machines, with attention to presentation details such as latte art.
• Customer Service: Interacting with customers in a friendly and professional manner, understanding custom orders, and providing suitable recommendations from the menu.
• Compliance with Standards: Maintaining impeccable cleanliness of the work station (bar) and preparation equipment continuously, following all relevant food safety and health protocols in Kuwait.
• Inventory Management: Assisting in monitoring stock levels of key ingredients (coffee beans, fruits, milk, syrups) and reporting shortages.
• Quality Assurance: Ensuring every drink served meets the standard recipe and the establishment's taste profile, maintaining consistency in flavor and presentation.

Required Qualifications and Skills

To be considered a suitable candidate for this position, you should meet the following criteria:

• Practical Experience: Proven previous experience in a similar role as a juice preparation expert or barista in a cafe, restaurant, or juice bar. Experience within the Kuwaiti or GCC market is preferred.
• Technical Knowledge: Deep understanding of coffee bean types, brewing methods, fruits, and juice blends. Ability to operate and perform basic maintenance on espresso machines and juice preparation equipment.
• Personal Skills:
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with customers and colleagues.
  • Ability to work efficiently under pressure during peak hours while maintaining composure.
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy in measurements and execution.

• Basic Requirements: Applicants must possess a valid residency permit in Kuwait that allows them to work (transferable or eligible for transfer). Preference will be given to candidates residing in areas close to Hawally.
