Key Account Manager Job in Kuwait

Job Description

The appointed Key Account Manager will be directly responsible for a select portfolio of strategic clients who form the backbone of the company's business. The role will focus on deepening partnerships with these clients, ensuring their complete satisfaction, and creating sustainable, profitable growth opportunities for both parties.

Key Responsibilities and Duties:

  • Develop and implement comprehensive key account management strategies to foster loyalty and increase market share.
  • Act as the primary point of contact and relationship owner between the company and strategic clients, developing a deep understanding of their business needs.
  • Lead contract negotiations and renewals, ensuring financial targets (revenue, profitability) for the assigned accounts are met or exceeded.
  • Identify up-selling and cross-selling opportunities within existing accounts, collaborating with internal sales and marketing teams to capitalize on them.
  • Monitor and analyze account performance, preparing regular reports for senior management on performance, challenges, and forecasts.
  • Proactively anticipate and address any client issues or complaints to ensure the highest levels of satisfaction.
  • Stay abreast of market trends and competitor activities to provide valuable insights and strategic recommendations.

Requirements and Qualifications

The company is looking for highly qualified candidates with a proven track record of achievement in a similar field.

Essential Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or a related field. A Master’s degree will be an added advantage.
  • Proven work experience of at least 5 to 7 years in Key Account Management or Strategic Sales, preferably within the Kuwaiti or Gulf market.
  • Deep understanding of local market dynamics and best practices in building long-term business relationships.
  • Exceptional communication, negotiation, and persuasion skills, with the ability to interact effectively with all levels of management at the client and company.
  • Strong analytical ability to interpret data and make informed decisions.
  • A leadership personality, capable of working independently and managing time and priorities in a fast-paced environment.
  • Full professional proficiency in English and Arabic, both written and spoken.
