Job Description & Key Responsibilities

The appointed Key Account Manager at Sanofi will be directly responsible for managing and developing relationships with a portfolio of strategic accounts and key clients in the Jeddah region. The focus will be on the healthcare sector, including major hospitals, medical centers, and healthcare institutions. Core responsibilities include:

  • Developing and executing comprehensive sales strategies for assigned accounts to achieve and exceed sales and profitability targets.
  • Building strong, sustainable business relationships with key decision-makers within healthcare institutions (e.g., C-level executives, department heads, pharmacists).
  • Delivering compelling value propositions for Sanofi's pharmaceutical products and projects, emphasizing clinical and economic benefits.
  • Analyzing market data and monitoring competitor activity to identify growth and expansion opportunities.
  • Coordinating efforts with internal teams such as Marketing, Medical Support, and Logistics to ensure customer satisfaction and goal achievement.
  • Preparing regular reports on sales performance, market forecasts, and customer activities for senior management.
  • Ensuring full compliance with all ethical, legal, and regulatory standards of the pharmaceutical industry in Saudi Arabia.

Qualifications & Requirements

To be a successful candidate for this role, you should meet the following criteria:

  • Educational Background: A Bachelor's degree in a relevant field such as Pharmacy, Medical Sciences, or Business Administration (Marketing/Sales specialization). A Master's degree is a plus.
  • Work Experience: A minimum of 3 to 5 years of experience in pharmaceutical or healthcare sales, with a proven track record of achieving sales targets. Prior experience in managing key or strategic accounts is highly required.
  • Personal Skills:
    • Exceptional communication, negotiation, and persuasion skills.
    • Strong analytical ability and data-driven decision-making.
    • Proactive mindset with the ability to work independently and as part of a team.
    • Flexibility and adaptability in a dynamic work environment.
    • Solid knowledge of healthcare products and the sector landscape.
  • Other Requirements: Excellent command of the English language (written and spoken). Possession of a valid driver's license.
