Job Description and Responsibilities
The successful candidate will assume a dual role, combining strategic key account management with hands-on team leadership. You will be the primary driver for nurturing Keeta's relationships with its most important clients, ensuring growth and retention targets are met, while leading and mentoring a team of account managers towards excellence.
Key responsibilities include:
- Leadership & Supervision: Lead a team of Key Account Managers, providing ongoing mentorship, coaching, and direction to enhance their performance and achieve team objectives.
- Strategic Account Management: Take ownership of a portfolio of the company's key and strategic accounts, developing a deep understanding of their business needs to become a trusted partner.
- Strategy & Growth Planning: Develop and execute comprehensive strategic plans for account growth and wallet share expansion, aligned with the company's overall goals.
- Financial Target Achievement: Hold direct responsibility for achieving revenue and sales targets through both your key accounts and the team you lead.
- Customer Loyalty & Retention: Build and maintain strong, long-term relationships with senior client stakeholders, ensuring their complete satisfaction with Keeta's services and working to exceed their expectations.
- Internal Collaboration: Work closely with internal departments such as Marketing, Product Development, and Customer Success to ensure client needs are met and integrated solutions are delivered.
- Performance Analysis & Reporting: Monitor and analyze account and team performance, preparing detailed periodic reports for senior management on progress, challenges, and opportunities.
Required Qualifications and Experience
Keeta is looking for a candidate with a proven track record in key account management and team leadership, coupled with a passion for working in a startup ecosystem.
Core Requirements:
- Minimum 5-7 years of experience in key account management or strategic sales, with a portion of that experience in a leadership or supervisory capacity.
- Previous experience working in a startup or technology-driven sector is a significant advantage.
- A demonstrable track record of meeting and exceeding sales and revenue targets.
- Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate a team and foster a collaborative spirit to achieve common goals.
- Exceptional communication and negotiation skills, with the ability to interact effectively at all levels, including C-level executives at client companies and internally.
- Deep understanding of business development principles and account growth strategies.
- Ability to analyze data and market trends to make informed strategic decisions.
- Flexibility and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic work environment.
- Excellent command of the English language (both verbal and written). Proficiency in Arabic is a strong plus.
