Job Description and Key Responsibilities

The successful supervisor will be responsible for the field leadership and direct supervision of landscaping project implementation and maintenance. Core responsibilities include:

• Direct Supervision: Leading and directing field work teams specialized in planting, irrigation, maintenance, and hardscape installation.
• Operations Planning & Execution: Developing daily and weekly work plans for the team, assigning tasks, and ensuring execution according to the highest standards of quality and occupational safety.
• Quality Control: Ensuring all executed works align with agreed technical specifications, design plans, and client expectations.
• Resource Management: Overseeing the efficient use of equipment, machinery, plant materials (trees, shrubs, palms, turf), and landscaping construction materials.
• Health & Safety: Ensuring all team members comply with Health, Safety, and Environment (HSE) procedures on-site and preventing accidents.
• Communication & Reporting: Coordinating with the Project Manager or responsible engineer, and preparing periodic reports on work progress, achievements, challenges, and material requirements.
• Green Space Maintenance: Supervising irrigation, fertilization, mowing, integrated pest management, and all periodic maintenance work to preserve the vitality and aesthetics of the supervised areas.

Qualifications and Key Requirements

To be a suitable candidate for this position, you must meet the following criteria:

• Educational Qualification: A diploma or technical qualification in Agriculture, Landscape Architecture, Horticulture, or a related field. Extensive and proven experience may be considered.
• Work Experience: Minimum of 5 years of practical experience in the landscaping field, with at least 2 years of proven experience in a supervisory or leadership role (team leader, site foreman).
• Technical Knowledge: Deep knowledge of native and climate-adapted plant species for the Gulf region, modern irrigation systems (e.g., drip, sprinklers), and fundamentals of agricultural maintenance work.
• Managerial Skills: Strong ability to organize work, manage time, and direct diverse teams. Problem-solving and decision-making skills under pressure.
• Safety Compliance: Full awareness of applying health and safety standards on work sites.
• Language: Proficiency in spoken and written Arabic. Knowledge of English is essential for reading and understanding technical drawings and specifications.
• Driver's License: Possession of a valid driver's license is highly preferred.
