Job Overview

The Legal Manager will hold a pivotal role within the company's structure, serving as the primary officer responsible for all legal and compliance affairs. Key Expected Responsibilities and Duties

• Overseeing the legal structuring of new deals and investments, including mergers & acquisitions, and strategic partnerships.

• Providing proactive legal counsel to senior management and various company departments regarding legal risks and obligations.

• Ensuring the company's full compliance with all applicable laws, regulations, and statutes in the UAE, particularly those related to the Securities and Commodities Authority (SCA) and free zones.

Essential Qualifications and Requirements

• A Bachelor of Laws (LLB) degree from a recognized university. A Master of Laws (LLM) or an advanced professional legal qualification will be a distinct advantage.
• The candidate must possess a valid UAE Practicing Lawyer License.
• A minimum of 7 to 10 years of practical legal experience, with a strong focus on corporate law, commercial business law, and/or investment & financial services law.
• Prior experience working within investment companies, investment funds, financial institutions, or reputable law firms specializing in this sector.
• In-depth knowledge of the UAE's legal and regulatory framework, including free zone laws such as DIFC and ADGM.
• Excellent analytical and advisory skills, with the ability to interpret complex legislation and apply it to business scenarios.
• Superior proficiency in English (written and spoken). Knowledge of Arabic is a significant advantage.
• Outstanding leadership and communication skills, with the ability to work under pressure and make sound decisions.
