Job Overview

The Technical Architect will be responsible for leading the technical aspects of Microsoft Dynamics projects within the organization. This role entails designing core technical architectures, ensuring best practices in development and integration, and delivering solutions that meet complex business needs and strategic objectives. This position is pivotal in bridging business requirements with the technical capabilities of the Dynamics platform.

Key Expected Responsibilities and Duties

• Architectural Design: Lead the design of comprehensive technical solutions using Microsoft Dynamics 365 (and/or relevant prior versions like AX or CRM), ensuring scalability, security, and efficiency.
• Technical Leadership: Guide and mentor development teams and developers, conduct code reviews, and ensure adherence to defined quality and architectural standards.
• Integration Planning: Design and implement seamless integration strategies between the Dynamics system and other enterprise systems (e.g., ERP, CRM, third-party platforms).
• Lifecycle Management: Oversee technical aspects throughout the entire project lifecycle, from analysis and design to deployment and maintenance.
• Stakeholder Engagement: Work closely with project managers, business analysts, and client stakeholders to understand requirements and translate them into actionable technical specifications.
• Problem Solving: Diagnose and resolve complex, performance-related issues within the Dynamics environment.
• Innovation & Research: Stay updated with the latest developments in the Microsoft Dynamics platform and related technologies, providing recommendations for improvement and innovation.

Required Qualifications and Skills

• Education: A Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Information Technology, or a related field.
• Experience: Proven hands-on experience of 7-10 years working with Microsoft Dynamics (with a strong preference for Dynamics 365 experience). This must include several years in a similar Technical Architect or technical leadership role.
• Professional Certifications: Relevant Microsoft Dynamics certifications (e.g., MB-700, MB-500) are a significant advantage and highly desirable.
• Technical Skills:
  • Deep expertise in Dynamics customization, development, and integration using tools like X++, C#, .NET, and APIs.
  • Strong knowledge of database concepts (SQL Server) and integration architectures (REST, SOAP).
  • In-depth understanding of software engineering principles, design patterns, and cybersecurity best practices.
  • Experience with project management methodologies (e.g., Agile/Scrum).
• Soft Skills: Exceptional communication skills (verbal and written), with the ability to explain complex concepts to non-technical audiences. Strong leadership abilities and a team-oriented approach in a dynamic environment. Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
