Job Description

The Operating Procedures Specialist will be responsible for designing, reviewing, and implementing standardized operational procedures across various departments. This role is pivotal in ensuring all processes are carried out consistently, efficiently, and safely, in alignment with best practices and applicable regulatory standards in Qatar.

Key expected responsibilities include:

• Documentation Development: Drafting clear and accurate Standard Operating Procedure (SOP) documents, work instructions, and policy manuals.
• Process Review & Improvement: Analyzing existing operational processes to identify areas for improvement in efficiency, safety, or quality.
• Compliance Assurance: Ensuring all procedures comply with local Qatari legal requirements, industry standards, and internal company policies.
• Implementation & Training: Working closely with department heads and teams to roll out new or revised procedures, providing necessary training and guidance to ensure understanding and adherence.

Requirements & Qualifications

• Work Experience: Proven experience of 3 to 5 years in a similar role such as Operating Procedures Specialist, Quality Coordinator, or Process Analyst. Experience in the Qatari or GCC market is a significant advantage.
• Technical Skills:
  • Excellent proficiency in drafting technical and procedural documentation in a clear and grammatically sound manner.
  • Strong understanding of operations management and quality assurance principles.
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to deconstruct complex processes.
  • Good knowledge of Microsoft Office applications (especially Word, Excel, and Visio or similar flowcharting tools).
• Soft Skills:
  • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills in both Arabic and English.
  • Ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams.
