• Developing Comprehensive Schedules: Preparing and analyzing detailed project schedules using the latest planning and project management software (such as Primavera P6 or MS Project).
• Monitoring and Tracking Progress: Following up on site work or across various teams, comparing actual achievement with approved plans, and identifying any potential deviations or delays.
• Report Preparation: Generating periodic reports (daily, weekly, monthly) on project status, highlighting key performance indicators, risks, and necessary recommendations for senior management and stakeholders.

• Change Management: Assessing the impact of changes in work scope or designs on the project's overall schedule and proposing mitigation solutions.

Qualifications and Requirements

To be a successful candidate for this role, you must meet the following criteria:

• Educational Qualification: A Bachelor's degree in Engineering (Civil, Mechanical, Electrical, or any related engineering discipline) from an accredited university.
• Experience: A minimum of 3 to 5 years of practical experience in a similar role (Planning Engineer or Project Engineer) within the contracting, engineering, or construction sector. Experience in the Gulf or Kuwaiti market is highly preferred.
• Technical Skills:
  • Advanced proficiency in project planning software, with a strong preference for experience in Primavera P6.
  • Excellent skills in using the Microsoft Office suite (especially Excel).
  • Strong understanding of project management principles (PMI) and execution methodologies.
• Personal Skills:

  • High accuracy and attention to detail.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills (Arabic and English).
