Job Description and Responsibilities

The appointed Procurement Officer will be part of the company's Procurement and Supply department, responsible for a range of core tasks that support efficient and effective company operations. Key responsibilities include:

• Managing Purchase Processes: Executing daily procurement activities for materials and services required for facilities management operations, ensuring compliance with company policies and procedures.
• Supplier Sourcing and Evaluation: Identifying new suppliers and evaluating proposals from both existing and potential vendors based on criteria such as quality, price, reliability, and after-sales service.
• Document Preparation and Review: Preparing and reviewing Requests for Quotation (RFQs), Purchase Orders (POs), and procurement contracts for accuracy and completeness.
• Negotiations: Negotiating with suppliers to secure the best commercial terms, including pricing, delivery schedules, and payment conditions.
• Supplier Relationship Management: Building strong working relationships with suppliers and monitoring their performance to ensure contractual obligations are met.
• Inventory and Cost Monitoring: Assisting in monitoring inventory levels and working to optimize procurement processes to reduce costs and increase efficiency.
• Internal Coordination: Working closely with other departments such as Operations, Finance, and Projects to identify needs and ensure their requirements are met in a timely manner.

Requirements and Qualifications

To qualify for this role, you should meet the following criteria:

• Educational Qualification: A Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain, Logistics, or a related field.
• Experience: A minimum of 3 to 5 years of practical experience in procurement or purchasing, preferably within the facilities management, construction, or related industries.
• Technical Skills: Proficiency in computer software, especially the Microsoft Office suite, with knowledge of Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) systems for procurement.
• Personal Skills:
