Job Description
The Product Specialist will occupy a pivotal role within the team, responsible for a range of strategic and operational tasks related to the product. The specialist will work closely with marketing, sales, and development departments to deliver successful products that meet customer needs and exceed expectations.
Key Expected Responsibilities:
- Product Lifecycle Management: Contribute to the strategic planning of the product from the initial conception phase through launch and continuous development, including planning for product phase-outs.
- Market and Competitive Analysis: Conduct ongoing market research to analyze industry trends, understand customer behavior, and evaluate competing products to identify opportunities for improvement and innovation.
- Development and Definition: Collaborate with development and engineering teams to translate business requirements into clear technical specifications, ensuring the final product aligns with the business vision and marketing goals.
- Technical and Sales Support: Provide necessary technical support and training to the sales team and channel partners, and prepare promotional materials and technical presentations that clearly articulate the product's benefits and value proposition.
- Feedback Gathering and Development: Act as a liaison between customers and the internal development team, collecting, analyzing, and converting user feedback into actionable development proposals to enhance the product experience.
- Performance Analysis: Monitor and analyze key product performance indicators (KPIs) such as sales, market share, and customer satisfaction, and prepare regular reports for management to evaluate performance and inform decision-making.
Qualifications and Requirements
To be a successful candidate for this position, you should meet the following criteria:
- Educational Qualification: A Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Engineering, or a related field. Advanced or specialized certifications in Product Management would be an added advantage.
- Work Experience: Proven professional experience of at least 3 to 5 years in product management, marketing, or a similar role such as Product Specialist or Product Owner. Experience in specific sectors may be required depending on Aspen Holdings' line of business.
- Technical Skills: Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office suites (especially Excel and PowerPoint). Knowledge of Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) and Customer Relationship Management (CRM) systems is a significant advantage.

- Outstanding verbal and written communication skills in both Arabic and English.
