Production Manager - Dubai, United Arab Emirates

Job Description & Key Responsibilities
The appointed Production Manager will hold a vital leadership position, being directly responsible for overseeing daily production operations. Key responsibilities will include:
- Leadership & Planning: Leading and directing the production team to achieve the company's strategic and operational objectives. Developing production plans and ensuring their execution within the specified schedule and budget.
- Operations Management: Directly supervising all stages of the production process, from raw material planning to final product delivery. Ensuring operations run smoothly and with high efficiency.
- Continuous Improvement: Analyzing current operational performance and identifying improvement opportunities to enhance productivity, reduce waste, and lower costs. Implementing Lean principles and good manufacturing practices.
- Quality Assurance: Working closely with the Quality Control department to ensure all products meet required specifications and local/international standards.
- Safety & Compliance: Promoting a strong safety culture in the workplace and ensuring full compliance with all applicable Health, Safety, and Environment (HSE) regulations in the UAE.
- Resource Management: Effectively managing human resources, equipment, and materials to optimize their use. Contributing to the development and training of production team members.
- Reporting: Preparing detailed periodic reports on production performance, risks, and achievements for senior management.
Qualifications & Requirements
To qualify for this leadership opportunity, you must meet the following criteria:
- Academic Qualification: A Bachelor's degree in Engineering (Mechanical, Industrial, Manufacturing), Business Administration, or a related field. A Master's degree or relevant professional certifications (e.g., Six Sigma, PMP) is a strong advantage.
- Professional Experience: A minimum of 7 to 10 years of hands-on experience in production or operations management, with at least 3 years in a similar leadership role (Production Manager or Senior Supervisor). Experience in manufacturing or heavy industries is highly preferred.
- Leadership Skills: Proven ability to lead, motivate, and manage large, diverse teams to achieve targets. Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills.
- Analytical Skills: Strong capability in data analysis, complex problem-solving, and making strategic, data-driven decisions.
- Technical Knowledge: In-depth understanding of manufacturing principles, Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) systems, quality control, and supply chain management.
- Language Proficiency: Fluency in English, both written and spoken, is essential. Knowledge of Arabic is a significant advantage.
