Job Description & Key Responsibilities

This is a dual-role position with significant responsibilities spanning both operational and administrative functions. The core focus will be to ensure the smooth and efficient running of luxury door manufacturing operations while handling supportive administrative tasks.

Operational & Production Responsibilities:

• Directly supervise the production and assembly lines for luxury doors in the workshop or factory.
• Monitor product quality at all stages, from raw materials to the finished product, ensuring compliance with the highest industry standards.
• Plan and organize daily and weekly production schedules to meet required targets in a timely manner.
• Train, guide, and evaluate production workers, ensuring adherence to safety and quality procedures.
• Oversee the use of raw materials and equipment, and coordinate routine maintenance to minimize waste and maximize efficiency.
• Troubleshoot technical and operational issues that arise during the manufacturing process promptly and effectively.

Administrative Responsibilities:

• Manage production-related documentation such as work orders, inventory records, and daily production reports.
• Coordinate with other departments like sales, procurement, and warehousing to support the supply chain.
• Assist in preparing performance and productivity reports for senior management.
• Handle basic HR-related tasks for the direct labor force under supervision, such as attendance tracking.

Qualifications & Requirements

To be a successful candidate for this role, you must meet the following requirements:

• Practical Experience: Proven experience of 3 to 5 years in a supervisory role (Production Supervisor, Workshop Foreman) within a manufacturing environment. Experience in the door, wood, aluminum, or furniture manufacturing industry is highly preferred.
• Technical Skills: Strong understanding of manufacturing processes, quality control, and maintenance principles. Knowledge of relevant industrial tools and equipment.
• Administrative Skills: Ability to multitask, maintain accurate records, and prepare reports. Proficiency in basic computer software like Microsoft Office (Word, Excel).
• Soft Skills: Leadership and team motivation abilities, excellent communication skills (verbal and written), and strong problem-solving and decision-making skills under pressure.
• Education: A diploma or technical qualification in Industrial Engineering, Production, or Operations Management. Significant and outstanding relevant experience may be considered in lieu of a formal degree.
• Additional Conditions: Priority will be given to candidates currently residing in the Sultanate of Oman, particularly in Al Batinah Governorate, or those willing to relocate. Proficiency in English is an added advantage.
