Job Overview

The Program Director will be responsible for the end-to-end oversight of one or more large-scale programs related to Core Banking Systems. Key Responsibilities and Duties

• Stakeholder Management: Build and manage strong relationships with key stakeholders at all levels, including senior bank executives, technology vendors, and internal teams. This includes providing regular, clear reporting on progress, risks, and key performance indicators.
• Risk & Quality Management: Identify, assess, and mitigate risks that could impede program success. Ensure adherence to the highest quality standards and agreed-upon specifications.
• Resource Management: Effectively plan and allocate resources (human and material) to achieve program objectives efficiently.
• Compliance Assurance: Ensure all program activities comply with the bank's internal regulations and policies, as well as applicable regulations in the UAE.

Required Qualifications and Skills

• Experience: Proven track record of at least 10 years in managing large, complex programs or projects, with a strong focus on the Core Banking domain. Previous experience working with systems like Finacle, Flexcube, or Temenos T24 is a significant competitive advantage.
• Education: A Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field such as Computer Engineering, Management Information Systems, Business Administration, or Finance. A Master’s degree or recognized professional certifications (e.g., PMP, PgMP, Prince2) are highly preferred.
• Leadership Skills: Exceptional ability to lead and motivate large, diverse teams in a dynamic, high-pressure environment.
• Technical Skills: Deep understanding of the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC), project management methodologies (Agile and traditional), and banking systems architecture.
• Communication Skills: Excellent written and verbal communication skills in both English and Arabic, with the ability to explain complex concepts clearly to diverse audiences.
