Project Engineer/Coordinator at LEAD Real Estate Developer - Abu Dhabi

Job Description and Key Responsibilities
The successful candidate will be an integral part of the project management team, responsible for a range of critical tasks to ensure the successful execution of real estate projects on time, within budget, and to the highest standards of quality and safety. Core responsibilities include:
- Coordination and Supervision: Effectively coordinating between all project stakeholders, including contractors, consultants, suppliers, and the company's internal team.
- Schedule Monitoring: Tracking on-site progress against approved timelines, identifying potential delays, and proposing mitigation plans.
- Quality and Safety Control: Ensuring all works are executed according to approved technical specifications and local building regulations, with strict adherence to occupational health and safety protocols on-site.
- Document Management: Preparing, organizing, and reviewing technical documentation such as drawings, Requests for Information (RFIs), meeting minutes, and weekly/monthly progress reports.
- Logistical Support: Assisting in planning and organizing project resources, including materials, equipment, and manpower.
- Problem-Solving: Identifying and resolving technical or operational issues that may arise during various execution phases, in coordination with architects and consultant engineers.
Qualifications and Requirements
To be a successful candidate for this role, you should meet the following criteria:
- Educational Background: A Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering, Architectural Engineering, or a related engineering field from an accredited university.
- Work Experience: A minimum of 3 to 5 years of practical experience in a similar role (Site Engineer, Project Coordinator, Assistant Engineer) within the real estate development or construction sector in the Gulf region, preferably within the Abu Dhabi or Dubai market.
- Technical Knowledge: Solid understanding of real estate project development stages, from design to handover. Good knowledge of building systems and regulations in the Emirate of Abu Dhabi.
- Personal Skills: Excellent communication and interpersonal skills in both Arabic and English (written and spoken). Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple priorities. Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities. Accuracy and attention to detail.
- Technical Skills: Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite (especially Excel and Project). Basic knowledge of Computer-Aided Design (CAD) software is a distinct advantage.
