Job Description and Key Responsibilities

The Project Manager in this critical sector will play a pivotal role in ensuring the successful execution and delivery of fire fighting system projects from inception to final handover. Key responsibilities include:

• End-to-End Project Management: Lead, plan, execute, monitor, control, and close fire fighting system projects (such as sprinkler systems, alarm systems, gas suppression systems, etc.) within the defined schedule, budget, and while adhering to the highest standards of quality and safety.
• Coordination and Communication: Act as the primary liaison between the client, internal engineering team, suppliers, subcontractors, and on-site installation teams. Ensure effective and transparent communication flow throughout the project lifecycle.
• Resource Management: Efficiently plan and allocate the required human and material resources for the project, ensuring equipment and materials are available as needed.
• Quality Control and Compliance: Ensure all design, installation, and testing works comply with agreed technical specifications, international standards (e.g., NFPA, BS), and local UAE regulations.
• Risk Management: Identify potential risks (technical, logistical, financial) that may impact project delivery and develop proactive mitigation plans.
• Documentation and Reporting: Prepare and present regular progress reports to senior management and clients, including budget updates, schedule status, and any variances.
• Project Handover: Oversee the final delivery, commissioning, client system training, and ensure complete customer satisfaction.

Qualifications and Essential Requirements

To qualify for this leadership opportunity, you must meet the following criteria:

• Educational Background: A Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Fire Safety Engineering, or a related engineering field.
• Professional Experience: Minimum of 5 to 8 years of hands-on experience in managing fire fighting system projects or MEP (Mechanical, Electrical, Plumbing) projects within the Gulf region, with preference given to experience in the UAE market.
• Technical Knowledge: In-depth understanding of various fire fighting systems and equipment, as well as local and international building and safety codes.
• Professional Certifications: Possession of recognized project management certifications such as PMP (Project Management Professional) or equivalent is highly preferred.
• Soft Skills: Excellent leadership, management, communication, and negotiation skills. Exceptional analytical and problem-solving abilities.
• Language Proficiency: Full professional proficiency in English, both written and spoken. Knowledge of the Arabic language is a significant advantage.
