Job Description & Key Responsibilities
The Projects Director will hold a pivotal leadership position, bearing full responsibility for the planning, execution, closure, and overall success of one or more of the company's major projects in the Medina region. Core responsibilities include:
- Leadership & Management: Leading a multidisciplinary team comprising engineers, site managers, and technical/administrative professionals. Fostering a motivating and directive work environment to ensure goal achievement.
- Strategic Project Planning: Developing comprehensive project plans encompassing scope, schedule, budget, resources, and risk management. Ensuring project objectives are aligned with the company's strategic goals and client expectations.

Qualifications & Requirements
To be eligible for this leadership role, you must meet the following criteria:
- Educational Qualification: A Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or a related engineering field. A Master's degree in Business Administration (MBA) or Project Management will be a strong added advantage.
- Professional Certification: A globally recognized project management certification such as Project Management Professional (PMP) from the Project Management Institute (PMI) is highly desirable.
- Work Experience: Minimum of 15 years of experience in construction and infrastructure project management, with a proven track record of successfully managing major projects (each valued at 100 million Saudi Riyals or more) from inception to handover. Previous experience working with major Chinese or international contracting firms in the GCC region is a significant competitive advantage.
- Technical Skills: In-depth knowledge of Saudi and international construction standards and specifications. Strong proficiency in project management and engineering software (e.g., MS Project, Primavera P6, AutoCAD).
- Soft Skills: Exceptional leadership and managerial abilities. Excellent problem-solving and decision-making skills under pressure. Outstanding communication and negotiation skills in both Arabic and English (English is considered the primary working language; knowledge of Mandarin Chinese is an additional asset).
- Other Requirements: The applicant must have a valid residency permit (Iqama) in Saudi Arabia or be ready for immediate relocation to Medina.
