Job Description

The QA/QC Lead will be entrusted with overseeing all Quality Assurance and Quality Control activities across the company's various project sites. This individual will serve as the primary authority for implementing and enforcing quality management systems to ensure all work complies with standard specifications, contractual requirements, and local and international regulations.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead and develop the project-level QA/QC team.
• Develop and implement project-specific Quality Assurance/Quality Control (QA/QC) Plans.
• Conduct regular inspections and audits of materials, construction work, and installations to verify compliance with specifications.
• Review and approve Inspection Requests (IRs) and technical reports.
• Investigate Non-Conformance Reports (NCRs), identify root causes, and propose corrective and preventive actions.
• Ensure all quality-related records and documentation are maintained systematically and are readily accessible for audit purposes.
• Coordinate with Project Managers, Engineers, and subcontractors to foster a culture of quality at all levels.
• Conduct awareness training for site personnel on established quality procedures and systems.
• Represent the company in quality meetings with clients and consultants.
• Stay updated on the latest quality standards and relevant industry regulations within the UAE.

Requirements and Qualifications

To qualify for this leadership role, candidates must meet the following criteria:

• Educational Qualification: A Bachelor's degree in Engineering (Civil, Mechanical, Electrical, or related field) from an accredited university. A postgraduate degree may be an added advantage.
• Experience: Minimum of 8 to 10 years of hands-on experience in QA/QC within the construction and contracting sector, with at least 3 years of proven experience in a lead or supervisory role.
• Technical Knowledge: In-depth understanding of international quality management systems (e.g., ISO 9001) and their application. Comprehensive knowledge of construction specifications and local UAE regulations (e.g., Dubai Municipality standards, Abu Dhabi DOT, etc.).
• Skills: Strong leadership and supervisory skills. Excellent problem-solving and decision-making abilities. Effective written and verbal communication skills in English (Arabic is a significant advantage). Meticulous attention to detail.
• Professional Certifications: Possession of recognized professional certifications in quality management (e.g., CQA, CQM, or equivalent) is highly preferred.
