Job Overview

The Projects Specialist will operate within a dynamic and creative team responsible for innovating, developing, and enhancing the portfolio of products and services offered by Qatar Airways onboard its aircraft and in its lounges. Key Responsibilities and Duties

• Project Management: Lead or contribute effectively to product development projects from initial ideation through to final implementation and delivery, ensuring adherence to timelines, budgets, and defined standards.
• Development & Design: Collaborate closely with interior design, customer experience, onboard services, and other departments to design and develop product elements (e.g., tableware, furnishings, amenities, entertainment experiences).
• Coordination & Liaison: Act as a central point of contact between various internal stakeholders (such as Operations, Procurement, Safety) and external suppliers to ensure smooth and coherent project execution.
• Quality Assurance: Monitor and review the quality of product samples and manufacturing materials to ensure they meet the high technical, aesthetic, and functional specifications mandated by the airline.
• Reporting: Prepare detailed project progress reports, deliver presentations to management, and highlight challenges and proposed solutions.

Required Qualifications and Skills

• Education: A Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Project Management, Design, Engineering, or a related field.
• Experience: Proven work experience (typically 3-5 years) in project management, product development, or design, preferably within the aviation, hospitality, or luxury goods sectors.
• Technical Skills: Excellent command of Microsoft Office Suite and strong knowledge of project management tools (e.g., MS Project). A good understanding of design principles and manufacturing processes is a distinct advantage.
