LLC is actively recruiting experienced Quantity Surveyors with a specialization in Fitout works to join their team across multiple locations in the United Arab Emirates, specifically in Abu Dhabi, Dubai, and Ajman. Job Description and Key Responsibilities

The Fitout Quantity Surveyor will play a central role in the financial and cost management of interior fitout and finishing projects. The core responsibilities will include:

  • Preparing and analyzing detailed Bills of Quantities (BOQ) and cost estimates for fitout projects.
  • Monitoring and evaluating variations in the scope of work and preparing related financial claim documents.
  • Taking off-site measurements of completed work to assess the value for interim payments to subcontractors and suppliers.
  • Assisting in the preparation of tender submissions for fitout project bids.
  • Verifying and certifying subcontractor and supplier invoices against contract terms and executed quantities.
  • Tracking actual costs against approved budgets and preparing regular cost reports.
  • Working closely with Project Managers and site execution teams to ensure financial efficiency.
  • Ensuring compliance with contract conditions and relevant local regulations.
  • Contributing to the final account settlement and financial close-out of projects.

Job Requirements and Qualifications

To be a successful candidate for this role, you should meet the following criteria:

  • A Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering, Architecture, Quantity Surveying, or a related field.
  • Proven practical experience of at least 3 to 5 years in a Quantity Surveyor role, with a strong focus on interior fitout works.
  • In-depth knowledge of construction methods, fitout materials, and cost estimation practices within the UAE market.
  • Strong proficiency in relevant computer software, including MS Office (especially Excel), and quantity take-off software (e.g., AutoCAD, Revit).
  • Knowledge of contract systems (e.g., FIDIC) is preferred.
  • Excellent analytical and numeracy skills with a keen attention to detail.
  • Ability to work under pressure and meet strict deadlines.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively within a team.
  • Fluency in English, both written and spoken. Knowledge of Arabic is a distinct advantage.
