A modern and progressive ore mining company is now accepting applications for the position of Regional Marketing & Sales Manager at its headquarters in Jeddah, Saudi Arabia. The company is seeking a strategic leader with a clear vision and the ability to guide marketing and sales teams toward achieving ambitious goals in the regional market.

Job Description and Responsibilities

The Regional Marketing & Sales Manager will be responsible for leading and developing all commercial activities within the assigned region. Key responsibilities include:

  • Strategy Development & Execution: Formulate and implement comprehensive, integrated marketing and sales plans to achieve revenue and growth targets in the regional market, with a focus on the mining sector.
  • Sales Team Leadership: Directly supervise the sales and marketing team, providing guidance, training, and performance evaluation to ensure individual and collective targets are met.
  • Client Relationship Management: Build and nurture long-term strategic relationships with key existing and potential clients, including industrial companies, factories, and contractors within the mining and related industries.
  • Market Analysis: Conduct ongoing market research to analyze industry trends, identify new growth opportunities, and monitor competitor activities.
  • Planning & Budgeting: Prepare annual marketing and sales budgets, monitor expenditures, and ensure a high return on investment for marketing activities.
  • Internal Coordination: Work closely with production, operations, and logistics departments to ensure customer requirements are met and exceptional service is delivered.
  • Reporting: Prepare detailed periodic reports on sales performance, analyze data, and present results to senior management.

Qualifications and Requirements

To qualify for this leadership role, you must meet the following criteria:

  • Education: A Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Sales, or a related field. A Master's in Business Administration (MBA) or similar qualification is a strong advantage.
  • Experience: Minimum of 8 years of professional experience in sales and marketing, with at least 3 years in a leadership role (Manager or Supervisor) in a B2B (Business-to-Business) environment. Experience in the mining, heavy industry, raw materials, or related sectors is a critical prerequisite and a strong preference.
  • Leadership Skills: Proven ability to lead and motivate teams to achieve challenging targets.
  • Analytical Skills: Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret market and sales data and make data-driven strategic decisions.
  • Communication Skills: Excellent communication and negotiation skills in both Arabic and English (verbal and written).
  • Technical Knowledge: Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (especially Excel and PowerPoint) and Customer Relationship Management (CRM) systems.
  • Personality: Dynamic, able to work under pressure, results-oriented, with excellent problem-solving skills.
