Qualifications and Requirements
- A Bachelor's degree in Engineering (Civil, Mechanical, Industrial) or a related science field, or a Diploma in HSE with equivalent experience.
- A recognized professional certification in safety (e.g., NEBOSH, IOSH, OSHA) is a significant advantage.
- Minimum of 3 to 5 years of practical experience in a similar role as a Safety Officer or Supervisor, preferably in construction, manufacturing, oil & gas, or logistics sectors.
- In-depth knowledge of Saudi safety regulations and systems (e.g., Civil Defense regulations).
- Strong analytical skills and the ability to identify and assess hazards.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills (verbal and written) in both Arabic and English.
- Ability to prepare professional reports and presentations.
- Leadership personality with the ability to influence and persuade others on the importance of safety standards.
- Applicants must possess a valid residency permit (iqama) in Saudi Arabia (for expatriates).
