Sales Executive for Chemical Company – Sharjah
A leading and specialized chemical company in the UAE market is now accepting applications for the position of Sales Executive at its headquarters in Sharjah. Job Description and Responsibilities
The newly appointed Sales Executive will be tasked with leading market expansion efforts locally and regionally, focusing on building and maintaining strong relationships with existing and potential clients. The key responsibilities for this position include:
- Developing and implementing effective sales strategies to achieve defined targets and monthly/quarterly quotas.
- Prospecting for new clients and identifying new business opportunities within manufacturing, construction, production, and other sectors that utilize chemical products.
- Managing an existing customer portfolio, ensuring their complete satisfaction by providing exceptional service and technical support.
- Preparing quotations, sales contracts, and following the sales process through to deal closure.
- Keeping abreast of market trends, competitor activities, and providing regular reports to management.
- Working closely with internal technical support and logistics teams to ensure customer requirements are met accurately.
- Representing the company at trade exhibitions and industry events as required.
Qualifications and Core Requirements
To be a successful candidate for this role, you must meet the following criteria:
- Educational Background: A Bachelor's degree in Chemical Engineering, Chemistry, Business Administration (Marketing/Sales), or a related field.
- Work Experience: A minimum of 3 to 5 years of practical experience in industrial chemical sales or related products. Preference will be given to candidates with prior experience in the UAE or GCC market.
- Personal Skills:
- Excellent communication and negotiation skills in both Arabic and English (written and spoken).
- Strong relationship-building abilities and a team-player attitude.
- High self-motivation and the ability to work independently to manage time and achieve targets.
- Good analytical skills to understand customer needs and present appropriate solutions.
- Proficient knowledge of Microsoft Office applications (especially Excel and PowerPoint).
- Other Requirements: The applicant must possess a valid driver's license, as the role may require travel within the UAE to meet clients.
