Job Description & Key Responsibilities
The Sales Executive will be responsible for generating new revenue streams and maintaining strong relationships with existing clients. The core responsibilities of this role include:
- Developing and executing effective sales strategies to meet monthly, quarterly, and annual sales targets.
- Prospecting for new business leads (B2B and B2C) in the local market, including corporate accounts, travel agencies, event planners, and MICE (Meetings, Incentives, Conferences, and Exhibitions) organizers.
- Conducting professional presentations and holding meetings with potential and existing clients to market hotel rooms, meeting spaces, banquet services, and other offerings.
- Preparing detailed and compelling sales proposals, quotes, and contracts tailored to client needs.
- Building and maintaining a comprehensive client database and fostering long-term relationships to ensure customer loyalty.
- Working closely with other hotel departments such as Reservations and Food & Beverage to ensure seamless customer service delivery.
- Attending local industry events, trade shows, and networking forums to represent the Hilton brand and expand professional connections.
- Preparing regular reports on sales performance, market activities, and pipeline for management review.
- Staying updated on all hotel products, services, packages, as well as market trends and competitor activities.
Qualifications & Requirements
To qualify for this position, candidates should meet the following criteria:
- A Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Hospitality, or a related field.
- Proven work experience of at least 2 to 3 years in a sales role, with preference given to experience within the hospitality, hotel, or service industry.
- Exceptional communication, negotiation, and persuasion skills in both English and Arabic.
- A proactive, results-driven personality with the ability to work independently as well as collaboratively within a team.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications (particularly Excel and PowerPoint).
- The ability to travel locally within Kuwait for client meetings.
- Knowledge of the Kuwaiti market and the local hospitality sector is a significant advantage.
