Sales Executive Job in Manama, Bahrain

Job Description and Key Responsibilities
The Sales Executive will be placed within the direct sales team and will be primarily responsible for generating revenue and driving growth for the company. The main responsibilities expected for this role include:
- Developing and implementing effective sales strategies to target new clients and maintain the existing customer base.
- Prospecting for new sales opportunities and following up on leads from initial contact through to closing the deal.
- Building and nurturing strong, long-term business relationships with clients, understanding their deep-seated needs to offer suitable solutions.
- Presenting compelling proposals and quotes to customers, and negotiating contract terms to achieve mutually beneficial outcomes.
- Meeting and exceeding the monthly and quarterly sales targets and quotas set by management.
- Participating in local trade shows and business events as needed to represent the company and enhance its market presence.
- Preparing regular reports on sales performance, market activity, and sales forecasts for direct sales management.
- Working closely with the marketing and technical support departments to ensure customer expectations are met and excellent after-sales service is delivered.
Qualifications and Core Requirements
To be a successful candidate for this position, you must meet the following criteria:
- Educational Background: A Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Sales, or a related field.
- Work Experience: Proven practical experience of at least 2 to 3 years in direct sales or similar roles. Experience in the Bahraini or GCC market is preferred.
- Personal Skills:
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills in both Arabic and English.
- A proactive, self-motivated personality with the ability to work independently or as part of a team.
- Exceptional negotiation and persuasion skills.
- Ability to build relationships and manage wide networks.
- Resilience and the ability to work under pressure to achieve targets.
- Technical Skills: Proficiency in using Microsoft Office suite (especially Excel and PowerPoint). Knowledge of Customer Relationship Management (CRM) systems is an added advantage.
- Other Requirements: The applicant must hold a valid residency permit in the Kingdom of Bahrain that allows them to work. Possession of a valid driver's license and a private vehicle for work-related travel is highly preferred.
