The Sales Manager (Leisure) will hold a pivotal role within the hotel's Sales and Marketing team. The focus will be on driving room occupancy and increasing revenue through this vital sector.

Core expected responsibilities include:

  • Working closely with other hotel departments such as Revenue, Marketing, and Front Office to ensure an exceptional guest experience.
  • Preparing regular sales performance reports, analyzing results, and providing recommendations to management.

Required Qualifications and Skills

Marriott International is seeking candidates with proven experience in hospitality sales and a deep understanding of the leisure and travel segment.

Essential Requirements:

  • A Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Hospitality, or a related field.
  • A minimum of 3 to 5 years of experience in hospitality or hotel sales, with a proven track record of achieving targets in the leisure segment.
  • Strong knowledge of relevant local and regional leisure and travel markets for Oman.
  • Exceptional communication, negotiation, and persuasion skills, with proficiency in written and spoken English. Arabic language skills are a strong advantage.
