Job Description

The Senior Event Project Manager will play a pivotal role in steering the planning, execution, and overall management of the company's strategic event projects. You will be responsible for turning creative concepts into successful on-ground events, ensuring adherence to the highest standards of quality, deadlines, and allocated budgets.

Key Responsibilities:

• Leadership & Strategic Planning: Lead the event project team and develop comprehensive strategic plans for each event, including defining objectives, budgets, timelines, and contingency plans.
• End-to-End Project Management: Oversee all project phases from initial conception through to final execution and post-event evaluation.
• Vendor & Stakeholder Management: Liaise and coordinate with a wide network of suppliers, contractors, and partners (e.g., venues, catering, staging, decor, security, transportation) to ensure all services are delivered as per specifications.
• Quality & Budget Control: Meticulously monitor the quality of all event elements and manage the allocated budget effectively to avoid overspending, while providing regular performance financial reports.
• Risk Management: Proactively identify potential risks to the event and develop mitigation plans.
• Communication & Coordination: Act as the central liaison between all internal stakeholders (e.g., marketing team, senior management) and external parties (clients, partners, official bodies if required).
• Evaluation & Reporting: Analyze event outcomes, measure ROI and goal achievement, and prepare detailed reports highlighting successes and areas for improvement.

Requirements & Qualifications

To be a successful candidate for this leadership role, you must meet the following criteria:

Qualifications & Experience:

• A Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Communications, or a related field. A Master’s degree is a plus.
• A minimum of 7 years of practical experience in event or project management, with a proven track record of at least 3 years in a senior leadership role as a Senior Project Manager or equivalent.
• Extensive experience managing various types of large-scale events such as conferences, exhibitions, launch events, and corporate functions.
• In-depth knowledge of the Saudi market, specifically the business environment in Riyadh, and an understanding of local culture and regulations.
• Experience working with clients from diverse sectors.
