Job Description and Key Responsibilities

The Senior FileNet Developer will hold a pivotal role within the technical team, responsible for the design, development, testing, and maintenance of solutions based on the IBM FileNet P8 platform. The core responsibilities for this position include:

• Design & Development: Lead and implement the development of new and complex components on the FileNet P8 platform to meet specific client business requirements.
• Workflow & Process Development: Design, build, and develop complex Workflows, Class Diagrams, and Property Templates using IBM tools such as Process Designer and Workplace XT.
• Integration & Interfaces: Develop Application Programming Interfaces (APIs) and services for seamless integration between the FileNet platform and other systems within the enterprise infrastructure.
• Performance Optimization & Maintenance: Analyze and optimize the performance of existing FileNet applications, perform troubleshooting, and implement routine maintenance procedures to ensure stability and efficiency.
• Teamwork & Leadership: Collaborate effectively with business analysts, quality engineers, and other team members. Provide guidance and technical support to less experienced developers when required.
• Documentation: Prepare comprehensive technical documentation including system design, installation procedures, and user guides.

Qualifications and Essential Requirements

To qualify for this role, you must meet the following requirements:

• Experience: Proven hands-on experience of 5 to 7 years in developing and implementing Enterprise Content Management solutions using IBM FileNet P8.
• Deep Technical Expertise:
  • Strong proficiency in working with IBM FileNet Content Manager and IBM FileNet Process Manager.
  • Practical experience in using IBM Content Navigator (ICN) for development and customization.
  • Advanced skills in workflow development using Process Designer.
  • Good knowledge of databases (e.g., Oracle, SQL Server) and query languages (SQL).
  • Experience in relevant programming languages such as Java/J2EE, JavaScript, and XML.
  • Understanding of web services concepts (SOAP/REST) and system integration.
• Soft Skills: Excellent problem-solving abilities for complex issues, strong communication and interpersonal skills, and the ability to work effectively both in a team and in a dynamic project environment.
• Certifications: Professional certifications from IBM in FileNet (e.g., IBM Certified Developer - FileNet P8) are considered a strong advantage.
