• Training and Awareness: Assisting in developing and delivering HSE training and awareness programs for project staff and subcontractors. Topics will include safety policies, specific job hazards, proper use of Personal Protective Equipment (PPE), and emergency response procedures.
• Reporting and Analysis: Collecting and analyzing data on incidents, injuries, and near-misses. Preparing monthly and quarterly HSE performance reports for project management, highlighting trends and recommending continuous improvement initiatives.
• Incident Management: Participating in incident investigations to determine root causes and develop action plans to prevent recurrence.

Qualifications and Essential Requirements

• Educational Background: A Bachelor's degree in Engineering (Civil, Mechanical, Industrial) or Science (Environmental Health, Occupational Safety) or a related field. Advanced certifications in HSE are a significant advantage.
• Professional Certifications: A recognized professional certification in Health and Safety (e.g., NEBOSH International General Certificate, IOSH Managing Safely, or equivalent). Knowledge of Saudi Arabian safety regulations is essential.
• Work Experience: A minimum of 8 to 10 years of direct HSE coordination/management experience, with a strong focus on the construction and infrastructure sector. Experience must include working on large-scale projects (industrial, oil & gas, building construction, roads, and bridges).
