Qualifications and Requirements

Visa is looking for candidates with a proven track record in financial risk management, preferably within the payments, banking, or fintech sectors.

Essential Requirements:

  • A Bachelor's degree in a relevant field such as Finance, Business Administration, Engineering, or Information Technology. A Master's degree or professional certifications (e.g., FRM, PRM) are a strong plus.
  • A minimum of 7 to 10 years of professional experience in risk management, with a demonstrated focus on operational and/or credit risk.
  • Prior experience working in a complex, highly regulated environment, such as a payment network or a major financial institution.
  • Deep understanding of the electronic payments ecosystem, transaction lifecycle, and associated risks (e.g., fraud, liquidity risk, reputational risk).
  • Strong knowledge of local regulatory requirements in Saudi Arabia (e.g., Saudi Central Bank - SAMA regulations) and international standards.
  • Exceptional analytical and investigative skills with the ability to interpret complex data and make informed decisions.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills (written and verbal) in both English and Arabic, with the ability to articulate complex reports clearly to diverse stakeholders.
  • Proven leadership skills, project management capabilities, and the ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a multicultural team.
