Job Description and Key Responsibilities

The Senior Consultant will occupy a pivotal role within the project team, acting as the crucial bridge between clients' business needs and the technical capabilities of the Odoo platform. Key responsibilities will include:

• Analysis & Consulting: Working closely with clients to understand their business processes, analyze their requirements, and design tailored solutions utilizing various Odoo modules (e.g., Sales, Purchase, Inventory, Accounting, HR, Manufacturing).
• Implementation & Configuration: Leading or actively participating in end-to-end Odoo implementation projects. This includes configuring the system to agreed specifications and ensuring its seamless integration with other systems when required.
• Development & Customization: Collaborating with developers to specify technical requirements for necessary customizations and new developments that go beyond standard configuration capabilities.
• Support & Training: Providing post-implementation functional and technical support to clients. Preparing training materials and conducting training sessions for end-users and internal support teams.
• Quality Assurance: Testing developed solutions to ensure they meet requirements and are defect-free before client delivery.
• Leadership & Mentoring: Providing guidance and mentorship to junior consultants within the team. Contributing to the development of internal best practices and knowledge base.

Qualifications and Core Requirements

To be a successful candidate for this role, you should meet the following criteria:

• Experience: A minimum of 5 years of hands-on experience in implementing and supporting ERP systems, with a strong focus on the Odoo platform. This experience must include roles that blend functional (understanding business processes) and technical (understanding technical architecture, ability to communicate with developers) aspects.
• Technical Knowledge: Deep understanding of the Odoo platform architecture and its core modules. Knowledge of Python programming, the Odoo framework, and databases (PostgreSQL) is a significant advantage.
• Functional Skills: Comprehensive knowledge of cross-departmental business processes such as Finance, Supply Chain, Sales, and Inventory.
• Certifications: Holding relevant Odoo Certifications in functional or technical tracks will be a major priority for your application.
