Job Overview

The appointed Senior Project Manager at Dicetek will be responsible for leading, planning, and executing complex, high-value technical projects from initiation to final delivery. This role bears full responsibility for ensuring projects are completed on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards agreed upon with clients and internal stakeholders. Key Responsibilities and Duties

• Lead the entire project lifecycle, from initiation and planning through execution, monitoring, and closure.
• Develop detailed project plans, including scope definition, schedule, budget, and resource allocation.
• Manage and coordinate the work of cross-functional project teams, providing necessary guidance and support.
• Communicate effectively with all stakeholders, including clients, senior management, and vendors, providing regular reports on progress, risks, and challenges.
• Identify and manage potential risks and issues, developing proactive contingency plans for mitigation.
• Ensure compliance with quality standards and best practices in project management (e.g., PMI, Agile, Scrum methodologies as project-appropriate).
• Manage changes in project scope and ensure they are properly documented and approved.
• Focus on client satisfaction and building strong, sustainable working relationships.

Essential Qualifications and Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field such as Computer Engineering, Information Technology, Business Administration, or equivalent. A Master’s degree is an added advantage.
• Proven practical experience of at least 7 to 10 years in technical/IT project management, with a significant portion in a senior leadership role as a Senior Project Manager or equivalent.
• A professional project management certification such as PMP (Project Management Professional) from the Project Management Institute (PMI) is highly preferred, or other recognized certifications like PRINCE2.
• Deep expertise in project management methodologies (both traditional and Agile) and their tools (e.g., MS Project, Jira, Asana).
• Strong understanding of technical concepts related to IT projects (software, infrastructure, cybersecurity, digital transformation).
• Exceptional leadership and management skills with the ability to motivate teams and achieve goals in a fast-paced environment.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills (verbal and written) in both Arabic and English.
• Ability to solve complex problems and make decisions under pressure.
