Job Description and Key Responsibilities

The Senior Training Executive will play a pivotal role within the Human Resources department, responsible for designing, implementing, and evaluating strategic training programs aimed at enhancing the skills and capabilities of the Group's workforce. Key responsibilities include:

  • Training Needs Analysis: Work closely with department heads and line managers to conduct thorough training needs assessments across various departments and teams.
  • Program Design & Development: Create innovative and effective training content, including workshops, e-learning materials, presentations, and case studies, aligned with the Group's strategic goals.
  • Training Delivery: Lead and facilitate in-person and virtual training sessions for employees at all levels, ensuring an interactive and engaging learning experience.
  • Learning Management System (LMS) Administration: Oversee the Group's e-learning platform, update content, track learner progress, and generate analytical reports.
  • Evaluation & ROI Measurement: Develop mechanisms to assess the impact of training programs on employee and overall organizational performance, preparing detailed reports for senior management.
  • Budget & Logistics Management: Assist in preparing the annual training budget and ensure effective execution within the financial framework, as well as coordinate logistics for programs (venues, external trainers, materials).
  • Continuous Development: Stay updated on the latest trends and best practices in the field of training and talent development.

Qualifications and Requirements

To be a successful candidate for this role, you should meet the following criteria:

  • Educational Qualification: A Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Human Resources, Psychology, or a related field. A Master’s degree or professional certifications (e.g., CIPD, SHRM) is a strong advantage.
  • Work Experience: Minimum 5 to 7 years of experience in training and employee development, with a substantial portion in a leadership or supervisory role within a large corporate environment, preferably in the retail or service sector.
  • Technical Skills: Excellent command of Microsoft Office Suite (especially PowerPoint and Excel). Hands-on experience using Learning Management Systems (LMS) and e-learning authoring tools.
  • Personal Skills:
    • Excellent communication and presentation skills (in both Arabic and English).
    • Strong persuasion and stakeholder management abilities across all levels.
    • Strategic thinking with the ability to translate business needs into training solutions.
    • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
    • Ability to work independently and in a team within a fast-paced environment.
