Shared Services Manager - NBTC Group, Kuwait
NBTC Group, a leading conglomerate in Kuwait, is seeking a qualified and dynamic professional to fill the position of Shared Services Manager at their location in Al Ahmadi. This role represents a strategic leadership opportunity for ambitious individuals with expertise in optimizing processes and leading support service teams to achieve operational efficiency and excellence.
Job Overview
The Shared Services Manager will be responsible for leading, consolidating, and developing a range of internal support services within NBTC Group. This role aims to establish a center of excellence that provides high-quality, efficient services to various departments across the group, supporting the achievement of overall business objectives.
Key Expected Responsibilities and Duties
- Strategic Leadership: Develop and implement the vision and strategy for shared services in alignment with NBTC Group's goals.
- Operations Management: Oversee the day-to-day operations of one or more shared service domains such as Finance & Administration, IT Services, HR Services, or Logistics.
- Efficiency Improvement: Identify opportunities for process improvement, streamline procedures, and implement best practices to enhance productivity and reduce costs.
- Team Management: Lead and mentor the shared services team, fostering a collaborative and motivating work environment, and ensuring skill development.
- Quality Assurance: Establish and maintain service level agreements (SLAs), monitor performance, and ensure the delivery of consistent, high-quality services to internal customers.
- Budget Management: Contribute to departmental budgeting and monitor expenditures to ensure adherence to financial plans.
- Integration & Collaboration: Work closely with department heads and other business units to understand their needs and ensure services are aligned with business requirements.
Required Qualifications and Skills
- Educational Background: A Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Finance, Information Technology, or a related field. A Master’s degree (e.g., MBA) is a strong advantage.
- Experience: Proven experience of 8-10 years in a relevant field, with at least 5 years in a leadership role overseeing shared services or internal operations in a large corporation or multinational group.
- Leadership Skills: Exceptional ability to lead, motivate, and develop teams.
- Analytical Skills: Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex data and make data-driven decisions.
- Communication Skills: Excellent communication and interpersonal skills (verbal and written) in both Arabic and English.
- Results-Oriented: A strong focus on achieving results, with the ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines in a dynamic environment.
- Technical Knowledge: Solid understanding of service management principles, operations management, and Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) tools.
