Job Description & Key Responsibilities

In this critical advisory role, you will serve as the technical and strategic expert bridging SAP's innovative capabilities with the complex needs of customers in the manufacturing and logistics sectors. You will lead the technical aspects throughout the entire sales cycle, from opportunity discovery to deal closure. Key responsibilities include:

• Technical Leadership: Act as the subject matter expert (SME) for SAP's portfolio of Supply Chain Management (e.g., SAP S/4HANA, SAP IBP), Manufacturing (e.g., SAP Digital Manufacturing), and Delivery & Logistics solutions.
• Requirements Discovery & Analysis: Conduct in-depth workshops with prospective and existing customers to thoroughly understand their business challenges and identify opportunities for improvement across their supply chain processes.
• Solution Design & Demonstration: Design and deliver detailed technical presentations and tailored demonstrations (demos) that reflect industry best practices and showcase the concrete value of SAP's solutions.
• Strategic Sales Support: Collaborate closely with sales teams and consultants to develop win strategies, respond to complex technical inquiries (RFPs/RFIs), and prepare competitive positioning materials.
• Relationship Building: Establish and nurture strong relationships with technical and C-level stakeholders at customer organizations, earning their trust as a credible advisory partner.
• Market Expertise: Maintain deep, up-to-date knowledge of SAP's products, market trends, competitors, and specific industry requirements within the Saudi and Gulf markets.

Qualifications & Essential Requirements

To thrive in this role, SAP is looking for candidates with substantial hands-on experience and deep technical knowledge:

• Professional Experience: A proven track record of 7-10 years in IT consulting, presales (solution engineering), or advisory roles, with a strong focus on Supply Chain Management (SCM) and Manufacturing solutions. Prior experience working with SAP S/4HANA or legacy SAP SCM solutions is essential.
• Technical Knowledge: In-depth understanding of integrated supply chain processes, advanced planning, manufacturing (discrete and process), warehouse management, and transportation logistics. Knowledge of products like SAP IBP, SAP TM, and SAP EWM is a significant advantage.
• Consultative Skills: Exceptional ability to listen, analyze business problems, and architect solutions that effectively address those needs. Excellent presentation and communication skills for all organizational levels.
