Job Description and Key Responsibilities

The Solution Architect at Green Eagle will undertake a range of vital tasks, including:

• Needs Analysis: Work closely with stakeholders across various departments to understand operational challenges and business opportunities, translating them into clear technical requirements.
• Solution Design: Create and design comprehensive, robust Solution Architecture, considering the integration of existing and future systems, and ensuring compliance with best practices and security standards.
• Strategic Planning: Contribute to the company's technology strategy and the digitalization of processes within trading and contracting, aligning with Qatar's Vision 2030 and digital transformation goals.
• Project Leadership: Provide technical guidance and oversight to development and implementation teams throughout the project lifecycle, ensuring solutions are delivered according to specifications, timelines, and budget.
• Vendor Management & Integration: Evaluate and select technologies, platforms, and external partners (vendors), managing the integration of their systems with the company's internal environment.

Qualifications and Key Requirements

To be a successful candidate for this role, you should meet the following criteria:

• Educational Background: A Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field such as Computer Engineering, Computer Science, Information Systems, or equivalent. A Master’s degree is preferred.
• Professional Experience: Minimum of 5 to 8 years of professional experience in IT, with a strong focus on solution architecture or systems architecture. Experience in the trading, contracting, or industrial sectors is a significant advantage.
• Technical Knowledge: Deep understanding of software engineering principles, design patterns, data architecture, and system integration (APIs, web services). Knowledge of ERP and Supply Chain Management (SCM) systems is relevant.
• Skills: Exceptional analytical and forward-thinking skills. Excellent problem-solving abilities for complex issues. Strong communication skills (both verbal and written) in English (Arabic is a plus) for presenting technical proposals and explaining complex ideas to non-technical audiences. Leadership skills and the ability to work in a team and manage stakeholder relationships.
• Professional Certifications: Possession of recognized solution architecture certifications (e.g., TOGAF, AWS/Azure Solution Architect) will be highly regarded and strengthen the candidate's profile.
