Job Description and Key Responsibilities

The System Engineer will be responsible for designing, implementing, and maintaining the company's critical technical infrastructure. Key duties include:

• Server Management and Maintenance: Overseeing the company's servers (on-premise and/or cloud-based) to ensure optimal performance and high availability. This includes installing updates, performing regular backups, and executing data recovery when necessary.
• Network Administration: Monitoring network performance, securing the network, and ensuring stable connectivity for all users and departments. The engineer will participate in designing and improving network architecture to meet growing demands.
• Cybersecurity: Implementing information security policies and procedures to protect the company's and patients' sensitive data from cyber threats. This involves managing firewalls, intrusion detection systems, and antivirus solutions.
• Advanced Technical Support: Providing technical support to resolve complex issues beyond the basic support level, acting as a technical reference point for the IT team.
• Planning and Development: Contributing to the strategic planning of the IT infrastructure, evaluating, and proposing new technologies to improve operational efficiency.
• Documentation: Creating and maintaining detailed technical documentation for system configurations and disaster recovery procedures.

Job Requirements and Qualifications

To qualify for this role, you must meet the following criteria:

• Educational Qualification: A Bachelor’s degree in Computer Engineering, Information Technology, or a related field.
• Work Experience: A minimum of 3 to 5 years of hands-on experience in a similar role (System Engineer, Systems Administrator, or Network Engineer).
• Technical Skills:
  • In-depth knowledge of server operating systems (Windows Server, Linux).
  • Experience with directory services management (e.g., Active Directory).
  • Strong understanding of networking protocols, routing, and switching.
  • Experience with backup and recovery systems.
  • Knowledge of cybersecurity principles and tools.
  • (A strong plus) Experience with cloud environments (e.g., AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud).
• Professional Certifications: Certifications such as MCSA, MCSE, CCNA, or CompTIA Security+ are highly advantageous.
• Soft Skills: Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, ability to work under pressure, effective communication skills to interact with non-technical teams, and a commitment to continuous learning.
