TPM Coordinator Job in Qatar

Al Arabiya Mineral Water And Packaging Factory WLL is currently recruiting for the position of TPM Coordinator to be based at their industrial facilities in the Rayyan area of Qatar. Job Description and Key Responsibilities

The TPM Coordinator will hold a pivotal role within the operations team, aimed at ensuring maximum operational efficiency, reliability, and production quality. The core responsibilities will focus on implementing and tracking the principles and tools of Total Productive Maintenance (TPM) across various factory departments.

Key expected responsibilities include:

• Leading and coordinating planned TPM activities and events across production and packaging lines.
• Working closely with maintenance, production, and quality teams to develop and enhance operational and maintenance standards.
• Monitoring and analyzing Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) related to Equipment Efficiency (OEE), downtime, quality defects, and providing regular reports to management.
• Organizing and conducting periodic equipment inspection rounds and hands-on training for teams on fundamental TPM concepts such as Cleaning, Inspecting, and Lubricating (CIL).
• Contributing to identifying root causes of recurring breakdowns and chronic problems on production lines and proposing sustainable, permanent solutions.
• Overseeing the documentation of work and maintenance procedures, ensuring they are consistently updated.
• Promoting a culture of continuous improvement (Kaizen) among team members and encouraging participation in workplace improvement initiatives.
• Assisting in preparing budgets related to maintenance and improvement activities and monitoring costs.

Qualifications and Essential Requirements

To be a successful candidate for this position, you should meet the following criteria:

• Educational Qualification: A Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, Operations Management, or any related manufacturing field.
• Work Experience: Minimum of 3 to 5 years of practical experience in a similar role (e.g., TPM Coordinator, Maintenance Engineer, Operations Supervisor) within a manufacturing environment, preferably in packaging, beverages, or Fast-Moving Consumer Goods (FMCG) industries.
• Technical Knowledge: In-depth understanding of TPM principles and tools (the eight pillars), Lean Manufacturing concepts, and industrial performance metrics like Overall Equipment Effectiveness (OEE).
• Soft Skills: Strong coordination and teamwork abilities, excellent communication skills (verbal and written), and the capability to analyze data and prepare reports.
• Language Skills: Proficiency in English for handling technical documentation and reports. Knowledge of the Arabic language is a strong added advantage.
• Certification: Professional certifications in TPM or quality management (e.g., Six Sigma) are considered a significant competitive advantage.
