Job Description

The Training Specialist will play a pivotal role within the company's Human Resources Development department. This individual will be primarily responsible for designing, implementing, and evaluating training programs aimed at enhancing the skills and capabilities of employees across the organization. They will work closely with various departments to identify training needs and develop strategic plans that align with business growth objectives.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Training Needs Analysis: Collaborate with department managers to assess skill gaps and identify essential training requirements for their teams.
  • Training Content Design & Development: Create innovative and engaging training materials, including presentations, hands-on tools, reference guides, and e-learning modules where applicable.
  • Facilitation & Delivery: Lead workshops and training sessions effectively, both in-person and via virtual platforms, to ensure learning objectives are met.
  • Evaluation & Follow-up: Develop mechanisms to assess the impact of training programs on employee performance, reporting on outcomes and suggesting continuous improvements.
  • Training Resources Management: Maintain a database of training materials and participants, and efficiently manage the budget allocated for training activities.
  • Research Best Practices: Stay updated on the latest trends and technologies in training and human resource development to ensure programs remain current and effective.

Requirements & Qualifications

To be a successful candidate for this role, you should meet the following criteria:

Educational Background & Experience:

  • A Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field such as Business Administration, Human Resources, Psychology, or Education.
  • Proven practical experience of at least 3 to 5 years in designing and implementing training programs within a corporate environment.
  • Previous experience working with international organizations or multinational corporations will be a strong added advantage.
  • Familiarity with Learning Management Systems (LMS) and e-authoring tools.

Personal & Professional Skills:

  • Excellent Communication & Presentation Skills: The ability to convey complex information in clear and engaging ways to diverse audiences.
  • Strong Analytical Skills: Capability to analyze data and performance reports to identify needs and measure training Return on Investment (ROI).
  • Creativity & Problem-Solving: Thinking outside the box to design training solutions that address unique organizational challenges.
  • Organizational Skills: Ability to manage multiple training projects simultaneously while adhering to deadlines.
  • Language Proficiency: Excellent command of both English and Arabic, spoken and written.
