Job Overview

The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing the daily operations within the company's warehouse, ensuring efficiency, accuracy, and safety in all aspects of inventory management and distribution. This pivotal role is an essential part of the supply chain, directly supporting the company's retail and distribution business in the apparel sector.

Key Responsibilities and Duties

• Directly supervise the warehouse staff team, including scheduling shifts, assigning tasks, and providing guidance and training.
• Ensure the accurate execution of goods receiving, storage, picking, packing, and shipping processes in accordance with standard operating procedures.
• Manage inventory levels and conduct periodic stocktakes to ensure record accuracy and minimize stockouts or shrinkage.
• Maintain high standards of cleanliness, organization, and safety within the warehouse environment, complying with all relevant regulations.
• Liaise with sales, procurement, and logistics departments to optimize goods flow and meet customer order deadlines.
• Operate and utilize Warehouse Management Systems (WMS) and related equipment (e.g., forklifts) effectively, ensuring routine maintenance.
• Prepare reports related to warehouse activities, inventory levels, and team productivity for senior management.
• Address any immediate issues related to operations, quality, or personnel in a professional and decisive manner.

Required Qualifications and Skills

• Diploma or Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Logistics, Supply Chain, or a related field (preferred).
• Proven hands-on experience of 3 to 5 years in a Warehouse Supervisor or similar leadership role within a fast-paced logistics environment.
• Prior experience within the apparel, fashion, or retail sector is a significant advantage.
• Practical knowledge of Warehouse Management Systems (WMS) and Office software packages (especially Excel).
• Strong understanding of inventory management principles, warehouse safety, and logistics best practices.
• Exceptional leadership and communication skills, with the ability to motivate a diverse team.
• Ability to work under pressure, troubleshoot effectively, and make quick decisions.
• Physical fitness to stand, walk, and perform light lifting frequently as required by the job.
• Proficiency in English (spoken and written); knowledge of Arabic will be an additional advantage.
