Tulip Consulting Services is actively recruiting for the position of Workshop Manager to join their dynamic team in the Kingdom of Bahrain. Job Description and Key Responsibilities

The successful Workshop Manager will be entrusted with a wide range of administrative and operational duties, including but not limited to:

• Leadership & Supervision: Full oversight of all daily workshop activities, leading a team of technicians and operators, delegating tasks, and ensuring a productive and safe working environment.
• Planning & Scheduling: Developing weekly and monthly work plans, scheduling projects or maintenance work, and ensuring adherence to deadlines while maintaining high-quality standards.
• Quality & Compliance Management: Implementing and monitoring quality assurance programs, ensuring all processes comply with local and international industry standards, and Health, Safety, and Environment (HSE) regulations.
• Resource Management: Overseeing inventory of raw materials, spare parts, and tools, monitoring stock levels, and initiating purchase orders as needed to minimize downtime.
• Maintenance & Repair: Supervising preventive and corrective maintenance operations for workshop equipment and machinery, diagnosing complex faults, and proposing effective solutions.
• Budget & Cost Control: Assisting in the preparation of the workshop budget, monitoring operational expenditures, and working to improve efficiency to reduce costs without compromising quality or safety.
• Development & Training: Evaluating team performance, identifying training needs, and organizing skill development programs to enhance team efficiency and capabilities.
• Communication & Reporting: Providing regular reports to senior management on workshop performance, productivity, issues, and improvement proposals.

Qualifications and Core Requirements

To be eligible for this leadership opportunity, you should meet the following criteria:

• Educational Qualification: A Bachelor's degree in Engineering (Mechanical, Industrial, Electrical, or a related technical field) or a recognized high-level technical diploma. Significant and distinguished practical experience may be considered in lieu of a formal academic qualification.
• Work Experience: Minimum of 5 to 8 years of experience in managing a workshop or similar industrial/production environment, with a proven track record in team leadership and achieving operational targets.
• Technical Skills: In-depth knowledge of industrial equipment, maintenance procedures, quality programs, and Occupational Health and Safety (HSE) principles.
• Leadership Skills: Strong ability to lead and motivate a multi-disciplinary team, with effective communication and delegation skills.
• Analytical Skills: Excellent problem-solving, logical analysis, and decision-making abilities under pressure.
• Organizational Skills: Strong organizational and administrative skills, with the ability to manage multiple projects and tasks concurrently.
• Language Proficiency: Fluency in English, both spoken and written. Knowledge of the Arabic language is a significant advantage.
