Overview

Jahangirnagar University is a prominent public university of Bangladesh under the act of 1973. The university provides multidiscipline education since 1970. Now we have 35 departments under different faculties and institutes. The university has more than five hundred faculty members among them about two hundreds are professor devoted to research and innovation. Every year about three thousands students complete their undergraduate and post graduate program. The university is always concern to upgrade the curriculums of existing program as well as opening of modern department to cope with the demand of society. The university also has name and fame in cultural activities and sports.
