Universidad Central "Marta Abreu" de Las Villas

Overview

Based in the Cuban capital city of Santa Clara, the University “Marta Abreu” of Las Villas was first established in the early 1950s before the Cuban Revolution. Providing both undergraduate and graduate education, the university is divided into 13 departments. The university also has a remote campus located in Topes de Collantes, a nature reserve in the Escambray Mountains. In total, the student body across all departments and campus locations numbers approximately 7,500.
