Overview
The University of Sri Jayewadenepura has an approved research strategy operated through the faculty of graduate studies which act as an umbrella for research activities conducted by all the faculties. Faculty of graduate studies (FGS) youngest faculty of the university which established in 1996 under the provisions of the faculty of graduate studies Ordinance No. 3 of 1987. Intention of this faculty is to bring all the postgraduate research program under its purview in order to upgrade the standards and also to allow interactive studies among different research fields.
