Overview

Zagazig University is one of the largest governmental universities in Egypt with approximately 7000 faculty members and more than 120000 students enrolled in 24 academic colleges and institutions. Since its establishment in 1974, Zagazig University (ZU) strives to remain at the forefront of research, teaching, and professional education. The university community is widely known for its leadership in teaching, research and outreach and for instilling in its students the core values of excellence, integrity, leadership, loyalty, respect and selfless service. All of ZU degrees are accredited by the Supreme Council of Universities in Egypt and many of its degrees are accredited by the National Authority for Quality Assurance and Assessment of Education (NAQAAE) in Egypt.
