Algebra: Elementary to Advanced

This specialization is intended for students looking to solidify their algebra and geometry necessary to be successful in future courses that will require precalculus and calculus. Quantitiative skill and reasoning are presented throughout the course to train students to think logically, reason with data, and make informed decisions

• Solve linear, quadratic, polynomial, and exponential equations
• Understand properties of real, rational, and irrational numbers
• Analyze characteristics of various functions including graphs and domains
• Apply theories to model data, reason logically, and evaluate arguments

• No deep prior experience is required; basic computer and internet skills are helpful
• Ability to read course instructions in English and complete short practice activities
