This Specialization is about building an in-depth understanding of Batteries in Electric Vehicles Scenarios. The courses comprise topics such as Batteries and their types, applications, architecture, Cell Chemistries, Battery Charging its Modes & Standards, Battery Management Systems, Cell Balancing, Wire Harness, and Battery Connectors

• Understand basic battery design principles to maximize energy and power density for automotive use
• Learn active materials, chemistry, and manufacturing for Zn and Ni battery applications
• Study chemistry and manufacturing processes for lithium-based primary batteries
• Understand battery management system components, cell balancing, and state estimation

• Basic computer and internet skills
• Ability to read course instructions in English and complete short practice activities
