Long-term absenteeism due to health-related issues is on the rise worldwide. In this course, we dive into the essential aspects of return to work and disability management, equipping you with practical tools to facilitate successful return to work implementation.
Returning to work isn't just a milestone. For most people, it is key to reclaiming life after an injury or illness. It means a person can return to normal life. At the same time, returning to work reduces the social, financial and emotional impact of an illness. However, the return to work process is not without hindrances and challenges. Do you need some guidelines and tools from experts? Look no further! What to expect: Core concepts of returning to work, including causes and consequences of work absence; Legislative frameworks on international, European and national levels; Real-life cases and action-oriented exercises related to returning to work; Set-up of an individualized return to work program; Development of an effective disability management policy on the organizational level; Personal skill training, including team management, motivational interviewing and conflict resolution. By the end of this course, you’ll have acquired all necessary knowledge about return to work, you’ll have the competencies to effectively support employees in their individual process and you’ll know how to set up a disability management plan at the organizational level. 3b:T50
